Youth Ministry Updates

Hello, Church Family,
I can’t believe how quickly the time is passing. It is almost time to welcome back all of our Sunday school students, who have been out and about sharing God’s love.

The Sunday school teachers and I have already met to discuss this year’s plans. It is so great to see the excitement that happens when they start talking about all the great things we can do this year. Expect to see some changes and new opportunities for the students.

Sunday school (3 years old – 7th grade)
Sept. 9, 2018 @ 9:00 am – 10:30 am open house and registration
Register your child, stay and participate in activities, enjoy snacks, participate in a scavenger hunt.

I am happy to announce that we have all returning teachers this year! We are blessed to have such dedicated adults who love to share their love for God with our children. Pray for them and their students as we begin another school year.
3 year olds – Kindergarten: Julie Whiting and Seija Anderson
1st – 3rd Grade: Becky Deters and Seth Johnson
4th grade – 5th Grade: Cheryl Drevlow
6th – 7th Grade: Chuck Whiting
Junior high (8th – 9th grade): Alissa Hulstrand
Senior high (10th – 12th grade): Eileen Van Pernis and Connie Cogger
Substitute teachers: Rebecca Crumb-Johnson, Peggy Hoffman, and Kat Roman
MUSIC: Katherine Swanson and Diana Mann will be working with the Sunday school classes throughout the year on musical contributions.
