ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sunday School registration will be on September 8th from 9:00-10:00 at the Purple Park for Pre-K through 8th grade students. Meet and greet teachers and grab a goodie bag! Classes will begin on September 15th for all ages (Pre-K through 12th grade) at 9:15. On the morning of our first classes, 8th-12th grade will meet at the Black Cat with Pastor Jim. Grades 6th & 7th will meet in the Youth Room with Laurel. Children 5th grade and under will meet in the chapel. This coming Sunday is Noisy Coin Sunday. Please don’t forget to bring your “noisy coins” or some of those not so noisy dollar bills. We’re also collecting breakfast cereal, peanut butter, and jam or jelly for The Brick. Let’s see if we can fill the basket with these items. Hang on to your items for The Brick and we’ll let the kids collect them during the children’s sermon. Thank-you.

Re-Member volunteers will be bringing personal care items to Pine Ridge on 9/20/2024. Please consider helping us collect these items. When money is tight, these items can be seen as luxuries. Yet, without them, it’s hard to do basic healthy self-care or feel good about going out of the house. We have collection boxes in the back of the sanctuary and in the dining room. We’ll pick them up after church on 9/15. Items requested: Shampoo, conditioner, brushes, hair ties, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, shaving cream, shower gel, soap, menstrual products, and bandaids.

Join the choir: Choir practice will begin on September 4th! Singing is an ideal way to relax and relieve stress as it provides an outlet from the pressures of daily life. The adult choir practices in the sanctuary on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8 pm. Anyone who would like to join the choir is welcome to show up for rehearsal any Wednesday Or you can call Diana Mann at 715-209-5489 to sign up ahead of time.

Adult Sunday School will start on the 15th of September. We will be studying the relationship of government and religion in America. We welcome everyone to come and talk about this very important subject during the fall political season of 2024. Join us at 9:15 on Sunday, September 15th in the downstairs lounge for great discussions. We look forward to seeing you then.
