Inter-generational Ministry – March 2019

Hello, Church Family,

Intergenerational Ministry is alive and well here at UPCC.  This month you could find the Sunday school students, singing and making Valentine’s Day decorations at the nursing home.  The were also sang “Love in a Box” during worship service.  Their biggest intergenerational
project was their 2nd Annual Valentine’s Day dinner.  We are so proud of all of our Sunday school students.  The nursing home staff always comment on how polite and respectful our students are.  We want to thank you for all of your loving support.

Our students will be taking some time to reconnect with our friends in Africa and Honduras.  We will be watching an African dance that some students put together as part of their Christmas Program.  We will also be sending a video of them singing as well.  Our pen pal, Genesis, has written us two letters, which we will be sharing with everyone.  The students in turn will write her a letter.  We are grateful to the Women’s Association for financially sponsoring Genesis.
