Women’s Association News – December 2018
By now many of you will have taken part and/or attended our Holiday Bazaar on Dec. 1. We hope you had an enjoyable time shopping and lunching in the Tea Room. We wish to
thank everyone who contributed in any way, with donations, helping set up and working during the bazaar. This is our biggest fund raisers of the year, which enables us to reach out with our mission work for the church, local needs, and beyond. The raffle, with a quilt and a plane ride, always adds excitement.
We are collecting used postage stamps, which are sent to a mission in Tecate, California. They serve people on the border of Mexico and also in Mexico. A requirement is that the stamps have a 1/4 inch envelope border. With the Christmas season coming up and many cards being received, we hope you will take the time to cut the stamps out for our collection. Circles may be meeting at a different day in December than normal, so watch the bulletin for announcements. We will be assembling gift items for our shut-ins.
We wish everyone a blessed and safe holiday season.
