Women’s Association News – March 2018
A check for $368.40 was sent to the Presbyterian Women of Northern Waters for our Thank offerings. Grants to issue for 2018 will be published in March – we’ll keep you updated. A BIG THANK YOU to those who participated.
March 10th – The Women’s Association is hosting a sewing/quilting day in dining room from 9-3 pm – one of the projects to be worked on will be lap robes. Lunch will be provided.
Sewing Day
The Women’s Association will be hosting a sewing day on Saturday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the church dining room. If you have a sewing machine to bring, come and sew for a while. We also need people to arrange fabric squares for lap robes and quilts, and there is always ironing to do and fabric to cut. Our goal is to complete some lap robes, throws, and quilts for nursing home patients, cancer patients and wherever else they are needed. Come when you can and help for
whatever time you can.
